Rose and Grants
Vegan breakfasts such as morning rolls and fry ups. They also stock Cool Jerk pies.
100% vegan with a selection of hot and cold options like BLT and croissants.
Tchai-Ovna – www.tchaiovna.com
They have a huge list of teas available and also serve a range of savory and sweet vegan food. With a resident cat too I’m sold.
I can’t find these guys online but they are definitely there. They are on Sauchiehall Street on the first floor of a music shop. They offer a range of tea, coffee, cakes and savory lunches.
Mono – www.monocafebar.com
100% vegan and great during the day but really noisy at night as they have live bands. Expect pizza’s, burgers and to-fish and chips.
The Flying Duck – 100% vegan American style food, expect burgers, hot dogs and macaroni cheese with Buckfast pulled jack fruit.
Stereo – www.stereocafebar.com
I’ve only been here for dessert but damn it was good. Will be heading back to try more from these guys.
The 78 – www.the78cafebar.com
A lovely little place made of a mish mash of tables and chairs with a big vegan menu. Think burgers, quesadillas and cake.
The 13th Note – 13thnote.co.uk
Not 100% vegan and their menu is confusing as hell but their vegan food is lovely
Hanoi Bike Shop
They have a vegan option for most sections of the menu but the special part about this place is that they make their own tofu. It’s a bit of a distance outside the city centre but well worth the trip.
Build your ow pizza for £10 with unlimited toppings. I rest my case.
Took @ktchn_nrchst to @pizzapunksgla for dinner and it was tasty as always. This time I went for BBQ sauce on the base topped with falafel, red onion, sweet corn, pumpkin, artichoke, broccoli, spinach, rocket and chilli flakes. Somehow I managed to only eat half of it so I could have the brownie freak shake too.
Both meat and vegan options such as bi bim bap, loaded fries and bao.
Steak Cattle and Roll
Not vegan or vegetarian but they put a lot of effort into the dishes that they do make vegan. Offer a great lunch deal and some epic vegan milkshakes
#throwback to our impromptu trip to Glasgow on Wednesday… as always we ended up at @steakcattleroll as I'm obsessed with their vegan milkshakes. Up front I've got the airy fairy no dairy chocolate with added peanut butter. In the back @ktchn_nrchst has got the whiskit biscuit which is vanilla, @lotusbiscoff and banana chips.
